One hundred years ago, in 1918, the greatest conflict the world had ever seen up to that time achieved an armistice. This year, on 11/11/18, we will celebrate the 100 year end of the Great War. This unit you teach is vital for students to understand the global structure of the world and the events that also led to World War II. With this being the 100 year anniversary of the end of WW I, here are some free resources to help you begin this unit. These resources explain various occurrences that preceded World War I. If you find these useful, check out what other resources we offer with our USHistoryTeachers.com membership!
